<p>Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Conveyor Belt Field Crew member for our client, in Carson City NV, an industrial conveyor systems company supporting industries such as mining, aggregate, and pulp and paper. This is a field-based role focused on installation, maintenance, and repair of conveyor belt systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and comfortable working in physically demanding environments, with experience using tools, solving mechanical problems, and working as part of a team in the field.</p>&#13;
<p>Pay & Schedule<br />&#13;
Pay: $25â$32/hour DOE<br />&#13;
Schedule: Full-time +OT depending on business needs<br />&#13;
Travel: Approximately 90% field work and 10% local/shop support, including occasional overnight travel with per diem</p>&#13;
<p>Key Responsibilities<br />&#13;
&bull; Perform installation, removal, and replacement of conveyor belting systems in field environments<br />&#13;
&bull; Execute or assist with belt splicing using vulcanized and cold bond methods including lap, finger, and steel cable splices<br />&#13;
&bull; Perform pulley lagging, belt alignment, and system adjustments to ensure proper operation<br />&#13;
&bull; Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems and related mechanical components<br />&#13;
&bull; Work independently or as part of a crew on field service jobs<br />&#13;
&bull; Operate safely around moving machinery and follow all safety procedures including PPE<br />&#13;
&bull; Work in a variety of industrial environments including mines, aggregate sites, and pulp and paper facilities<br />&#13;

<p>Required Qualifications<br />&#13;
&bull; Experience in physically demanding, hands-on work environments such as construction, concrete, masonry, wildland firefighting, industrial labor, or similar trades<br />&#13;
&bull; Strong mechanical background (millwright, industrial maintenance, construction, agricultural, or similar hands-on experience)<br />&#13;
&bull; Proven reliability, strong work ethic, and ability to work long hours when needed<br />&#13;
&bull; Experience working with tools and equipment in outdoor or industrial settings<br />&#13;
&bull; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally<br />&#13;
&bull; Ability to perform physical work including standing, walking, bending, crouching, and climbing<br />&#13;
