Job Description

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Water Mitigation Technician for a long-term, direct hire role with a restoration construction company located in Vancouver, OR. The person in this position will inspect water damage, set-up equipment, and repair damage.

 

Pay: $22-$27/hr

 

Water Mitigation Technician Responsibilities:

  • Inspect water damage in commercial and residential properties.

  • Set-up the appropriate amount of equipment to properly dry the area.

  • Remove affected materials when deemed unsalvageable.

  • Work with the client to explain the situation and what you have done to stop the immediate threat and advise them of the next steps.

  • Work within a team to complete necessary repairs.

  • Document accordingly.

  • Travel to work sites throughout the SW WA and Portland Metro area.

 

Water Mitigation Technician Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a water mitigation technician preferred. Construction experience required.

  • WRT Certified within 6 months of start date (company will cover cost).

  • Willingness to be on-call one week a month (will be compensated $200/week on call additionally).

  • Ability to Lift 80 pounds.

  • 2+ years of construction experience.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Communicate with clients, residents, and colleagues
