Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

About the Role

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking an Experienced Moulder Operator for a long-standing wood manufacturing client located in Phoenix, AZ. This company produces custom wood doors and architectural components with precision craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned operator who can independently set up, run, and maintain wood moulder machines to meet high production and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set Up & Operate: Independently set up, operate, and maintain moulder machines for consistent, high-quality output.

• Precision Work: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate dimensions and profiles.

• Quality Control: Inspect products throughout production using measuring tools to maintain exact tolerances.

• Maintenance: Perform routine adjustments, knife changes, and preventative maintenance to ensure machine performance.

• Production Efficiency: Troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly to minimize downtime and keep production on schedule.

• Documentation: Maintain logs of daily production and machine settings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Moulder Operator in a woodworking or millwork manufacturing environment.

• Proven ability to perform machine setups and knife changes with minimal supervision.

• Strong knowledge of wood species, feed rates, and cutting tools.

• Skilled in reading calipers, micrometers, and tape measures with precision.

• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills.

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality craftsmanship.
