Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking several highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge, along with experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and maintenance management systems (CMMS). This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in industrial mechanics and electrical systems to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems across the manufacturing facility to minimize downtime.

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters.

• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and control system diagrams to diagnose problems accurately.

• Utilize CMMS software to document maintenance activities, track work orders, and schedule routine inspections.

• Operate field service tools such as scissor lifts and forklifts safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach areas.

• Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support technical sales efforts by providing expert advice on equipment maintenance and system upgrades when necessary.

• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards while working with hazardous materials or high-voltage systems.

• Assist in training new team members on maintenance procedures and safety practices.

Requirements

• Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment.

• Strong electrical experience including industrial electrician skills, working with low voltage and high voltage systems.

• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC/R systems, and welding techniques.

• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and control system schematics.

• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics interpretation.

• Ability to operate field service equipment including scissor lifts safely.

• Excellent analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues efficiently.

• Prior experience working with CMMS software for maintenance management.
