Limited Maintenance Electrician

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Direct Hire LME position with a unionized company located in Portland, OR.

The person in this position will be in charge of troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, adjusting and installing as well as comfortable with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. You will need to have a solid background in electrical work!

Responsibilities:

• Able to replace, repair, and adjust to manufacturer specifications:

1. Bearings, seals

2. v-belts, chains

3. Air valves, hydraulic valves

4. Pumps, couplings

5. Process rolls (Corrugating, pressure, glue, etc.)

6. All machinery parts

• Troubleshoot and repair mobile equipment

• Perform all jobs safely and properly.

• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks.

• Operate and maintain a high pressure boiler, 200 PSI, and 150 HP.

• Maintain and repair mechanical fixed equipment as well as mobile equipment (forklifts).

• Fabricate, repair, and install equipment.

• Maintain and repair building.

• Communicate with supervisor and production team on maintenance issues.

• Be able and willing to accept responsibility for maintaining the plant on a shift working independently, and without other help.

• Able to manage paper work for work orders, PM’s, and stores inventories as required.

• Other duties as specified by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Welding

• Arc (Mig & Stick)

• Gas Cutting

• Preventive maintenance

• Oil Viscosity’s

• Difference and usage of greases

• Application and proper amount of lubricant

• Inspection for worn, broken, out-of-line and missing parts

• Read and understand machine manuals, and troubleshooting manuals

• Parts identification

• Operating shop machines/tools

• Grinders

• Drill Press

• Precision tools: micrometers, calipers, feeler gauges, dial indicators, etc

• Current LME or Electricians License / Oregon

Schedule :

• Monday- Friday

• 11:00pm-7:00am

Pay:

• $70,000 to $79,000/year DOE (shift differential will also apply)
