Job Description

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a CNC Machinist for a long-term role with a machine shop located in SE Portland. The person in this position will set-up and operate Fanuc Controlled CNC Machines including CNC Mills and CNC Lathes.

 

PAY: $25-$30/hr

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

  • Machine a variety of short-run parts.

  • Set-up and operate CNC Mills (3-4 axis).

  • Set-up and operate CNC Lathes.

  • Operate manual mills and manual lathes.

  • Complete first article inspections.

  • Machine mild steel, stainless steel, and tooling steel.

  • Read blueprints.

 

CNC Machinist Qualifications:

  • Must be able to set-up and operate CNC Mills.

  • Ability to do first article inspection and produce parts from blueprints.

  • CNC Lathe and manual machining experience is a plus.

  • Ability to work with limited need for direction.

  • Ability to work day shift (MON-FRI, 7AM-3:30PM)

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen (THC friendly).
